Kat’s blog is closed perhaps for good…… I have not decided at this point as you can never say never (The Fray). I have lost all interest in blogging at this time. That means reading blogs or sharing my own. I started blogging in 2002, thought it was the stupidest thing ever, then got hooked on it, met the most wonderful people ever. Now I guess it’s time for me to move on to something new. As many of you know I have many passions, my first passion is Jesus and I feel him leading me onto other things, urging me to let go of blogging, so I am listening. My second passion is my family and third my crafts. my whole family and friends are on facebook, so I’ll be there several times a week. You can find me at www.facebook.com/katslittlemice/. I am a very sensitive person and sometimes it can be hard for me to let go of things, but in my heart I know it’s time. My daughter finally realized her mistake in getting married to her husband. I feel horrible for her and my heart breaks into a million pieces as I never wanted her to marry him, I don’t hate him, I just knew they were not right for one another. I knew she would not be happy with him. I guess moms can just know these things sometimes. She finally sees this and will soon be a single woman. She made me cry when she said that perhaps I will get some more grandkids after all someday. She could not have kids with her husband. Long story. Anyway………..I posted this on the outside of my blog also for those that cannot get in, because I have broken the link off. But I cannot blog back right now which has nothing to do with my daughter but instead as I said within myself and just needing to let go of this blogging world. Thank you so much to Lori, Tracey, Liz, Darylynn, Kia, Dru, Elizabeth and Kellie the sweetest ladies ever who have been constant sweet friends which has meant the world to me. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! love and hugs ~Kat, Edie and Effie
It’s suppose to snow tonight so I am using my snowing graphic. I hope the snow sticks, it usually goes away fast, as we normally only get dustings of snow here.
Oh my time is getting by me. I am so busy these days working on trying to promote my jewelry and get more sales. I am finding all kinds of ways to promote my Jewelry online. It’s a lot of work.
I didn’t like the Soy, so I won’t be taking that. Yick! it’s so chalky and disgusting. I have not had any hot flashes for weeks, so it might be that I am in the beginning of this thing, or it only comes at certain times of the month, not sure?
Anyway I am taking Black Cohosh for a few days now. It’s a pill, no taste, goes down good. It’s perfect. If I start feeling yicky again I will see what else I can do. Anyway I am feeling fine!
I have not been on here for so long, since the 21 of November. That’s a long time it seems to be away from my blog.
Our Thanksgiving was good, I hope yours was too. I am still shopping for Christmas. I am late this year on everything. I did get the house decorated today and cards ready to send. Steve put the outside lights up, so we are all decked out for Christmas! yay! I do have most of the shopping done, I just need to get something for my son, probably a gift certificate or money and my DIL, I also need to get her a few things.
This is going to be my last blog post until deep winter or early spring. I will miss you all so much! I already do and wonder how you’re all doing.
I have Christmas cards made out to those I know their addresses, so you will get those soon.Have a very Merry Merry Christmas. I will be by before Christmas to read up on yas and say Merry Christmas.
Probably no one will miss me anyway. LOL!
Here you can remember what a dork I am by posting silly photos of myself, this one is of me in a hat Morgan picked out for Christmas, I wanted it, but I have grown out of hats, but when I was a kid and teenager I wore them all the time. Not as nice as this one though, she has fine taste in hats.
Kat in the Hat
This is my online Christmas card to bad you can’t see it larger in here, but it says many things, like Dear Santa, Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings so on and so forth.
Here is recipe for moms. Mom’s Recipe For Love

Mother nature has really been working over time on me these past few weeks. I have been reading and reading as what to eat, drink and take to help me with the symptoms I am having. After doing much research I finally decided to go for Revival, it’s a soy product you can drink and I have heard a lot of good things about it. I am willing to try it and see and it has the necessary grams per day to help.
I have spoken to countless friends and all have told me different things they did to help with night sweats and other issues. On Monday two friends of mine came over to the house, one is a new neighbor whom I knew back in the 90’s and she had moved away first to Tennessee then to Oregon. Now she is back in California to be with her kids and grandkids. Well she came over with my x sister in law and we were sitting around talking about the good ole days. Steve happened to be home while they were here, so poor guy had to put up with us ladies for several hours talking about women stuff. Both of my friends have already gone through this, so I got a lot of advice from them too. Apparently they had it worse then what I am having right now, the night sweats drove them to the shower.
Even my other SIL who is a runner has it so bad, she is 18 months older then me. I heard that if you exercise you wouldn’t have the symptoms to bad. I am a on and off exerciser, but my SIL runs all the time. So that shoots that theory down the drain. Though as soon as my allergies clear up a bit I will start back on my routine of exercising again daily.
I am feeling better now, but still having the night sweats and day sweats too! my mood has improved though, at least for now as of this writing, but it seems to be a daily struggle.
The other day I made a couple of digital scrap art pages, Steve and I had our photos taken for the holidays. I didn’t know the lady was going to be so snap happy or I’d have worn different tops.
Christmas Digital of Steve and I these are low resolution photos, they were not full size. I will get the better resolution photos later next week.
Today I drove to Sacramento area to visit my mom, I think she may be getting pneumonia again, so I am a bit worried about her. Luckily she has a Doctor appt on Wed with her heart Doctor, so he can check her out.
I brought the dogs with me and they were crawling all over mom along with her dog Missy at one point she had three little dogs in her lap. It was raining today and there were accidents all over the place on the freeway. I had wished I had taken the back roads. It was pretty freaky driving on the freeway today. Mom with pups.
Here are my plans for the upcoming week. On Monday Morgan and I are going to watch a movie called “Disney’s A Christmas Carol” in 3D, I will take her to IHOP for pancakes or breakfast before the movie.
On Tuesday we are getting our stove fixed, it needs a new thermostat or something? that is what Steve thinks, but I think the oven is fine. I just wished he would have had it checked out before he spent the money on the part and having it installed. At any rate the part is cheaper then a new oven, we have a pretty nice oven.
On Wednesday I will bake some pies for Thanksgiving and get things ready for our family day. I look forward to seeing everyone together in one place. I am Thankful for Thanksgiving when we can all get together.
Apparently the granite did have a crack in it which is just as well so Pop didn’t purchase it, so I am going to get a plain black countertop (Corian) for the buffet/server that will be permanent in my kitchen. It will not be something I can take with me if we ever move. Steve’s place of employment which is the John L. Sullivan Group, which is a car dealership in a auto mall. Well John L owns several car dealerships in this auto mall and out of the auto mall as well. Steve has worked at the Chevrolet Dealership after Saturn closed down last year, and he was blessed to be given a job at Chevrolet with the same employer. Anyway the Toyota Dealership is owned by John L too in this auto mall, well the dealership they are located at in the mall is to small for all the Toyota’s and they are doing better business then GM, so they are going to do something major, they are going to move the GM’s and Saturn’s over to where the Toyota Dealership is and the Toyota’s over to where the GM Dealership is, within the auto mall, it’s suppose to take 48 hours. I have seen all the cars, and I am completely baffled as to how they will accomplish the switch and that means switch the employees too from one dealership to the other including computers and equipment and so on, it’s a major thing. This will all take place the 11th of December. They will have a shut down day, no pay. As of this year the employees get no pay for Christmas, Thanksgiving or New Years either. No matching the 401 K anymore either. It’s becoming harder and harder to have the life we once had.
Oh well I know God is control of all things and that give me blessed peace.
