The Message of the Cross

The following scriptures are represented by seven colors and a prayer so you can share your faith and lead others to Christ.

Gold:

God

His love for you is more precious than pure gold. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. " John 3:16

Black:

Sin

Selfishness and self-will separates you from God. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. " Romans 3:23

Red:

Blood

Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and the sins of the world. "...Christ died for our sins...he was buried...he was raised on the third day..."1 Corinthians 15: 3-4

White:

Forgive

You are forgiven when you confess your sins, repent and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." Acts 3:19

Clear:

Purify

You are cleansed from sin and given the gift of eternal life when you accept Jesus Christ. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

Green:

Growth

Through prayer, reading the Bible, and fellowship, you will have spiritual growth." grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." 2 Peter 3:18

Blue:

Spirit

Through His Spirit, God will help you live a godly life. "Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. and this is how we know that the lives in us: We know it by the Sprit he gave us." 1 John 3:24

Yellow is for the son (Lord Jesus) whom shines so bright
Orange is for the encouragement God gives me everyday
Black is for the sins I've made
White is for my sins Jesus forgave
Purple is for divine healing from God for me
Pink is for all the love Jesus gives to me
